Located just 20 minutes from downtown Montreal, on the South Shore in Greenfield Park, Fairgreen Acres is one of Quebec’s oldest — and most vibrant — condominium communities. Established in 1974 and designed with families in mind, our 324 spacious townhomes are arranged in clusters of 4 or 6 units, nestled among mature trees, pedestrian paths, and peaceful green spaces.

Ahead of Its Time

Even before the internet, Fairgreen was ahead of the curve. In the 1980s, parents could monitor the playgrounds and pool via live camera feeds shown on their home TVs. A dedicated community channel kept everyone up to date with news and announcements.

Our spirit of community involvement runs deep. Maintenance, landscaping, and even pool care were once managed by board members and dedicated resident volunteers — a tradition of collaboration that still shapes who we are today.

Now in 2025, Fairgreen is entering a new phase of innovation. High-speed fiber-optic internet has replaced older systems, ensuring fast, reliable connectivity for modern living. At the same time, we’re investing in major infrastructure upgrades to protect and enhance the quality of life for generations to come and we have moved to a digitized co owners portal and a new property management firm with the experience, innovation and the creativity to support the community thru this revitalization period.

A Community in Transformation

Spread across eight tree-lined streets, Fairgreen Acres is growing greener every year. With the help of professional landscapers, we’re revitalizing our natural environment . We are also in the first part of major infrastructure repairs impacting all homes, including improving the engineering of the roofs and attics as well as re shingling the roofs and replacing top floor siding with Canexel siding (the mansardes). In adition, extending fire walls and replacing insultation with spray foam thereby tripling the R rating of the top floor of the structure and ensuring its longevity for another 40years. We are also beginning french drain replacements and foundation repairs and we continue to repair and repave driveways and front balconies. We are a community in transformation as we move to build a bright future for our co owners.
